Mountain Home Ranch Resort is a secluded country style bed and breakfast and group retreat center in the heart of California’s beautiful Sonoma and Napa Valleys. We offer visitors a vacation that is different — informal and relaxing with a taste of the past. The absence of televisions and telephones in our guest rooms provides a peaceful freedom from the distractions of everyday life.

We are secluded, yet just moments away from the special attractions of the Napa valley, its wineries, historic sights, spas, excellent restaurants and charming shops — the possibilities for fun are endless. We are easy to find.

Mountain Home Ranch welcomes special groups to use our facilities just for the day or as a conference site for an entire week. The facilities are spacious and comfortable and the rates, you’ll find, are comfortable too! The road ends at our property offering privacy and seclusion in a beautifully quiet setting. We are only 10 minutes to Downtown Calistoga and 20 minutes to Santa Rosa.

We have over 340 acres of hiking trails, two swimming pools, tennis court, basketball, volleyball, labyrinth, game room, a lake, picnic area and bar-b-que pit. All of these facilities are available for guests to use at their leisure.to create a perfect gathering.

To enhance interactions with one another or self-contemplation, our rooms feature no televisions or phones. Wireless internet is available for those who need to stay connected.

The road ends at our property offering privacy and seclusion in a beautifully quiet setting.

We are only ten minutes to Downtown Calistoga and 20 minutes to Santa Rosa.

As stewards of this beautiful land, we have been busy the past few years making our Home as ECO friendly as possible. Here is what we have done to date:

  • We are now using only environmentally friendly cleaning supplies.
  • Have an extensive reuse/recycling program.
  • We have implemented both water and energy saving programs.
  • Expanding the use of renewable resources for our energy needs.
  • We have expanded the gardens, growing much of what we serve right here on the property.
  • Of course there is the ever popular COWposting.
  • We have implemented an extensive permaculture base land management programs.
  • We continue to prepare all your food from scratch. The new term is ‘Slow Food’.

Two night minimum on weekends.
15 person lodging minimum for use of conference room at no charge
or $100.00 – $150.00 per day per room.
Check-in time is 4:00 pm.
Day use of facility can be arranged. Please call for details
Food service is available:    Children: 0-1 are free; 2-12 are $37.00
15 + people is $52.00 per person per day, 14 and fewer is $61.00 (see menus).
