Mountain Home Ranch Resort is a secluded group retreat center and country style bed and breakfast in the heart of California's beautiful Sonoma and Napa Valleys. We offer visitors a vacation that is different — informal and relaxing with a taste of the past. The absence of televisions and telephones in our guest rooms provides a peaceful freedom from the distractions of everyday life.

We are secluded, yet just moments away from the special attractions of the Napa valley, its wineries, historic sights, spas, excellent restaurants and charming shops — the possibilities for fun are endless. Mountain Home Ranch welcomes special groups to use our facilities just for the day or as a conference site for an entire week. The facilities are spacious and comfortable and the rates you'll find are comfortable too! The road ends at our property offering privacy and seclusion in a beautifully quiet setting. We are only 10 minutes to Downtown Calistoga and 20 minutes to Santa Rosa.

We have over 300 acres of hiking trails, two swimming pools, tennis court, basketball, volleyball, labyrinth, game room, lake fishing, picnic area and bar-b-que pit. All of these facilities are available for guests to use at their leisure. 

Our vision—to create a sustainable facility, supporting the environment and the humans on it through better land management practices. Helping us reach our goal, we and our staff strive for continued education focused on permaculture, herbal medicines, wildlife care and animal husbandry.

We have been expanding our gardens without the help of chemical enhancement. The animals on the property have been a great help in this arena.  Numerous fruit trees and berry bushes have been added for both human and animal consumption along with many flowers to help attract good insects, keeping the harmful ones at bay.

A vital part of our vision is to share this land with others on their journey to remembering their connection with the great divine. We hold this place of beauty sacred, in awe of the land’s energy.
